It's nearing the end of November, and you know what that means: it's time to give thanks. At Gordon Jensen Trucking and Storage, we're a family owned trucking company with over 50 years of success to our names. We're lucky to have so many loyal, repeat customers. Without them, our moving truck and commercial storage business would not be nearly as robust as it is today. Some of our customers are other local Salt Lake City families. They've been with us for generations, too. We're very thankful that we've had the chance to get to know them well and grow together.
The holiday season in Salt Lake City offers us plenty more reasons to show our thanks, too. We'd like to share some of our favorites with you.
This 10-acre complex of historic buildings is really a sight to behold. Tours are always complimentary. During the holiday season, the whole complex is bedecked with lights. This attraction always helps us get into the holiday spirit.
Messiah Sing-In at Abravanel Hall
Hearing Handel's Messiah is a time-honored holiday tradition in cities around the world. Salt Lake City is no exception. The Utah Symphony always does a wonderful job with this piece.
Torchlight Parade at Snowbird
The Torchlight Parade takes place every year at Snowbird Resort on Christmas Eve. Watching the skiiers carry their lights down the mountain is a truly special holiday experience. The bonfires where attendees watch the event are a real treat, too.
Chanukah on Ice
Held at the Gallivan Center by Chabad Lubavitch Utah, this is one of our favorite winter events. It's a great opportunity to get some ice skating in and celebrate the Festival of Lights.
Happy Holidays to all of our Salt Lake City neighbors, from Gordon Jensen Trucking! Here's wishing you a wonderful holiday season.
