• Consolidate: Instead of spending tons of money on packing materials, find ways to use household items in packing. For example, wrap dishes in dish towels. This will save space, time and money.
• Lists: On moving day, it's easy to get caught up in the moment and forget little things. A great corrective for this is to make lists. Whether it's a paper checklist, a note on a smartphone, or both, lists can be a huge help during a move.
