Happy New Year! The year 2019 is upon us, at last! Back when Gordon Jensen Trucking and Storage got its start, 2019 must have sounded impossibly futuristic. Utah was a very different place fifty years ago. Salt Lake City was smaller. There was less diversity, and fewer businesses who needed to transport their goods to all corners of our state.

Back in the 60s, our founders wouldn't have been able to guess at the changes that have come into the commercial trucking industry. It's a better than even bet they wouldn't have foreseen the growth in the storage industry, either. Did you know that almost ten percent of American families rent a self-storage space? Yet, in spite of all these changes, Gordon Jensen has continued to grow and flourish.

The secret is that there is no secret.

The more things change, the more things stay the same. Customer service, job performance and competitive rates are the keys to success today, just as they were back when Gordon Jensen first opened its doors. Fifty years from now, the transportation and storage industries will be even more evolved and futuristic than they are today. But Gordon Jensen's excellent service and competitive rates will likely keep us in the game even then.
